ACE-5030 Insulation Sub(IS) is to eliminate electrical contact between upper and lower tool housings. Used during Dual Laterolog Logging, It's position in the tool string will be such as to allow for length symmetry of upper and lower shield electrodes (A2, A2') establishing proper focusing of the ACE-5060 DLL.
